The PYF My Coventry programme has been set up to support integration activities for newly arrived young people who are Third Country Nationals (TCNs)

We work with young people between the ages of 8-22, by actively promoting integration within the local community and celebrating diversity and difference.

This project is part funded by the EU Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund. Making management of migration flows more efficient across the European Union.

The project focuses on:

Developing and Improving Skills by providing group activities for young people in order to build up confidence, providing intensive 121 mentoring (in and out of school) sessions to support young people gaining qualifications and finding employment, creating volunteering opportunities, and implementing ‘Social Action Campaigns’. Although targeting newly arrived young people the sessions will be open to the whole community.

Coventry is a city which has been defined and continues to be defined by welcoming newcomers with open arms. By bringing communities together and we want all young people to integration and community cohesion, we hope to continue this legacy.
