Changing Trax unleashes creativity and unlocks inner potential within young people.

The programme develops platforms for young adults to network, collaborate, and develop their critical thinking skills.

The programmes are developed to have a wide range of creative channels, identifying and aligning appropriate referral pathways for young people who may not have had previous exposer to creative arts.

To date these include; local arts and cultural organisations, the local authority, Schools, Colleges and Extended Learning Centres, Employability agencies and a number of migrant service providers.

The Changing Trax programmes now play a significant role within the wider programmes of UK City of Culture 2021, offering a whole host of opportunities, including; music, dance, industry insight, media production, broadcasting, photography, fashion, film-making and volunteering for young people.

The key purpose of PYF’s engagement as Honorary Partner in the City of Culture 2021 movement is to ensure that young people, who would otherwise not be involved, receive genuine opportunities for engagement within the bid and beyond.
